How V4E is growing

From an idea into a broader community effort.

Vision for Equity began with a simple belief: understanding eye health should not depend on where someone lives or what resources they have access to. What started as a student-led effort to make vision health information easier to understand has grown into a broader community of young people working through education, outreach, workshops, and community-based initiatives.

What guides us

Four values, one shared direction.

Our approach is grounded in understandable education, equitable access, and meaningful opportunities for young people to lead.

01

Accessibility

Vision-health information should be understandable and available to everyone.

02

Education

Knowledge can help people recognize concerns early and make informed health decisions.

03

Equity

Communities should have fair opportunities to access vision-health information and resources.

04

Youth Leadership

Young people can meaningfully contribute to public health and community change.

Our team

Students leading with curiosity and care.

My personal and family experiences with vision conditions made me aware from an early age of how deeply eye health can affect everyday life. I founded Vision for Equity to make vision health education more accessible and to turn awareness into meaningful community action. Through V4E, I hope to empower more young people and communities with the knowledge and resources to protect lifelong vision.
